Strong Families Through Education, Encouragement and Support
Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN)
Do you have a child or youth age 0-18 with special health care needs?
Call us, we are ready to help!
We can help:
- Establish a primary health care provider
- Schedule medical appointments with specialists, both local and out of town
- Assist with travel arrangements
- Assist with obtaining a diagnosis if child does not have one
- Provides coordination and referrals to other social support networks for assistance with:
- Nevada state welfare medicaid, NV check-up, food stamps, and TANF
- Housing authority
- State of NV energy assistance
- SSI (funds to assist special needs children)
- Education

Hablamos Espanol - Servicios Hispanos
Family Resource Centers health care coordinators work with families, youth, health care providers, non-medical providers, family support and education organizations, and community organizations to assure CYSHCN are accessing the services to meet their needs.
